About Called to Account
Called to Account exists to cultivate serious, thoughtful Christians who desire to live and lead with integrity before God and neighbor.
This platform began as a written project — a space for long-form reflection on vocation, conscience, discipline, responsibility, and faithfulness in a complex world. In a time marked by noise, outrage, and superficial commentary, Called to Account aims to slow the pace and recover depth.
The name reflects a dual reality.
First, every person is accountable — before God, before truth, and within the responsibilities of his or her own vocation. Second, each of us must regularly call ourselves to account — examining our lives, our convictions, and our conduct in light of Scripture and conscience.
Here you will find essays that explore:
Christian vocation and professional integrity
Discipline, formation, and habits of faithfulness
Law, ethics, and public responsibility
Conscience, authority, and moral courage
The interior life of belief
These reflections are not written to provoke reaction or fuel culture wars. They are written to cultivate seriousness — the kind that produces stability, clarity, and durable faith.
Called to Account is intentionally ecumenical and welcomes thoughtful readers across Christian traditions. The focus is not denominational debate, but shared commitments: truth, responsibility, humility, and obedience.
